Working together
Two strengths.
One partnership.
How we might work together, from what each of us brings to a roadmap toward your facility opening. This is a starting point for our conversation, not a set of terms.
What we each bring
Different strengths, one table.
Jon
Pilot and instructor
- Commercial pilot and flight instructor
- A specialty in safety aerobatics and one-on-one training
- Credibility with students, owners and fellow instructors
- A network to test every idea with real pilots
- A facility on the horizon that everything can point toward
Will
Designer and builder
- Design and brand, from identity to websites
- 3D visualization, the core of chair-flying
- Building apps and websites end to end
- A background in mental performance training
- The time and tools to build and iterate quickly
How we'd work
Six simple principles.
- Partnership, not a contract. We stay kind, focused and communicative, and see where it flies.
- Family time comes first. Nothing we build should depend on evenings and weekends you would rather keep.
- Start small, prove, then invest. Every idea gets more of our time only after real pilots show they want it.
- Both of us say yes. Big decisions need a clear yes from each of us, not a majority of one.
- One shared list. A single, simple list of next actions that we both can see and update.
- A short weekly check-in. Thirty minutes a week to review the list, decide and unblock.
Roadmap
From a call to your facility.
Dates are targets, and the order follows the ranking we agree on.
- October 2026
A short call
Rank the five together and pick where to start.
- November
First things built
A chair-flying prototype for a handful of figures, and three free sale-studio listings from your network.
- December to January
Real pilots, real feedback
Your students try the prototype; the first teaching course is scripted and filmed.
- February to March
Pricing and launch
Set prices from what pilots valued, then open the first paid offers.
- Spring 2027
The facility opens
Best case for your facility, with an audience already built by the ventures.
To agree together
The questions to settle early.
- Roles: who leads which venture, and how many hours each of us can give in a typical week.
- Shared outcomes: how income and costs are shared once something sells.
- Ownership: who owns the brand, the software and the course material.
- Budget: what we are each willing to spend on tools, hosting and production before anything pays its way.
- Stepping back: how either of us can step away gracefully if life changes.
Whatever we agree, we'll put in writing with proper professional advice before anything is built for sale.
